Ivan Csudai

A painter, graphic designer, musician and composer, Ivan Csudai deals in his works with various forms of the medium of painting. His artistic expression is systematically and purposefully on the borderline between planar painting and graphic art, reminiscent of promotional art, Csudai's field of study already at secondary school. Planar, unshaded colours and objects with bold contours have become his trademark. Just like the easily recognizable popular character of a toy bear or Mickey Mouse. At present, Ivan Csudai is head of the Painting Studio and vice-rector at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.
