Dana Sahánková

The precise ink drawings of Daniela Sahánková attracted the attention of the general public very soon after she had graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Animals and people interconnected in different ways are the dominant and in fact the only subject of her works. Animals, most frequently wolves and cats, usually have a symbolistic, rather worrying character referring to intimate experiences within our human "pack".
