Hana Puchová

This native of Ostrava returned to her native city immediately after graduating from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and has lived and worked here permanently since then. Her figurative pictures are inspired by the painter's surroundings. The characters captured are contemporary people who seem to be familiar to the viewer with their typology. Similarly, her other subjects, for instance, flowers in vases or pots, give the impression of a familiar environment. Puchová, whose ancestors are Polish, also illustrates books.
