Michal Nesázal

A member of the Pondělí (Monday) art group and laureate of the 1992 Jindřich Chalupecký Award, Michal Nesázal is interested in the universe and worlds beyond ours. Extra-terrestrial landscapes correspond with artificial worlds located on the borderline of the real world. They are occupied by beings who remind us, with their physiognomy, of the traditional picture of what visitors from space look like. Nesázal is devoted in particular to painting and drawing, and in addition, he is engaged in photography and creates installations.
