Juliana Mrvová

This native of Bratislava, where she also graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, often makes sketches during her walks and trips in the country. However, they do not capture the real countryside but rather express specific feelings and moments which she then transforms into large-format pictures in her studio. Juliana Mrvová is one of the most distinctive contemporary Slovak painters.
