Tomáš Lahoda

Tomáš Lahoda, painter, curator and lecturer, is one of the few Czech artists who has gripped audiences abroad. In this case, his works gained attention especially in Denmark, where he worked as head of the Painting Studio at the Juta Academy between 1993 and 1998. His paintings in strong colours take subjects from pop culture, and often a single motif is an inspiration for the whole cycle. Tomáš Lahoda alternately lives in Prague and Copenhagen.
