Krištof Kintera

Krištof Kintera is undoubtedly one of the best known contemporary Czech artists among the public. His moving works became very popular not only for their faultless construction, practically always mechanically demanding, but also for their playfulness and wit. At the same time, in most cases his objects carry a deeper message than just to amuse. He is the creator of two atypical Prague memorials: "Memento mori", devoted to suicides below the Nusle Bridge, and "Bike to Heaven", created in remembrance of Jan Bouchal.
