David Hanvald
Systém, konstrukce, řád (System, Construction, Order) – the title of an exhibition which was organized at the Richard Adam Gallery in 2010 characterizes in three words the work of this distinct graduate of the Painting Studio of Stanislav Diviš. Using neon paints and slanting the traditional formats of canvases is another typical element of Hanvald's expression. His paintings are on the borderline between geometric abstraction and a specific representation of nets, cages and colourful grids.
