Patricie Fexová

The paintings by Patricie Fexová imply her constant interest in exploring the possibilities of life at present as well as in the future with unconcealed fascination with today's technical objects. An almost rough nudity of human figures is confronted with the digital conveniences of the past several decades. Thanks to fast development, some of the objects that inspired her appear to be slightly archaic nowadays (for instance, CDs). Nevertheless, they keep offering new perceptions to the artist, shifting her expression from technical inventions through the human body to fauna and abstraction. Fexová graduated from both the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Brno University of Technology and from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.
