Marko Blažo

The visually very attractive paintings by Marko Blažo are based on his own world of full multi-coloured imagination. Besides other influences, the native of Košice is very much interested in architecture. He constantly examines both its individual elements, which he incorporates into his paintings, and the practical function of constructions and various historical buildings. He explores how period constructions can correspond with the needs of contemporary man, how current they can be even today. He then transfers the results of his imaginative research into his paintings. He transforms various forms of construction and, as he himself says, dresses them into their freedom.
